Many years ago there wasn’t much else near UBC other than UBC. You used to be able to find a few things at the ‘Village’. The UBC area is now much more like a small city then a village.
As the population of residents grow so grows everything else. Out at 16th Avenue you’ll find a full sized Save On foods and a shopping district comprised of great restaurants and shops. A local community centre is steps away from this area.
Of course you’re steps away from UBC. While many start and end their day packed on to various busses including the 99, you can stroll to the University on foot to start your day.
