In the winter you’re a short drive to 3 fantastic local ski hills. Cypress Mountain offering cross country skiing along with downhill. Grouse offers a plethora of winter activities including a skate pond, sleigh rides and snowshoeing.
Away from the mountains and at the seaside you’ll have great access to Lonsdale Quay. At the Quay you’ll find great produce for sale, all kinds of other items and some super restaurants. Hop on the seabus and you’ll be in the heart of downtown Vancouver in an easy 20 minutes.
On upper Lonsdale you have all of the amenities that you can think of. Super shops, great restaurants, community centres and a library.
Elementary and Secondary schools abound across the north shore. As well Capilano University attracts many students from across the Lower Mainland.
