Location Details

Kitsilano is one of the city's most vibrant communities.  Everything that you’re looking for in a city neighbourhood is located in Kits.  Kits beach is home to amazing outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, a playground for the young ones and the beach is a playground for young and old.  In the summer the beach is home to one of the largest outdoor pools in North America.  One lap alone at Kits pool could take an afternoon when it’s 137.5 metres.  The walking paths alongside the pool and the ocean stretch for miles in both directions.  The bike path can take you out to UBC along the ocean and it hugs False Creek in the other direction.

The number of restaurants in Kits are too many to count.  The range is from the best cheap grub in the city to the finest cuisine in the world.  4th avenue boast an array of shops that include fashion, to grocery, to fitness centres, to on and on.  If you can think of it, then it’s probably in Kits.  West Broadway near Macdonald St offers the same array of restaurants, great produce shops and much more.

If you’re looking for tree lined streets, quiet parks and friendly neighbours, then Kits is what you’re looking for.  Kits also offers an abundance of elementary schools and is home to Kitsilano Secondary School.  UBC is a short bus ride to the west.
